Welcome

Founded in 2026, Fíor (pronounced FEER) Academy of Irish Dance is owned and directed by Dr. Ashlyn Rockwell, PT, DPT, ADCRG. After serving as Director of the McGonagle School of Irish Dance for over 15 years, Ashlyn transitioned McGonagle - Nashua to Fíor Academy with a vision of creating a positive, athlete-centered environment where tradition, excellence, and community come together.

Registered with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha (CLRG), Fíor Academy offers traditional and competitive Irish dance instruction for students ages 3 through adult. Whether a dancer's goal is to perform, compete, or simply enjoy the art of Irish dance, every student is encouraged to grow with confidence, discipline, and a genuine love of the sport.

Our dancers proudly compete at the regional, national, and World Championship levels while also performing throughout New England for community events, cultural celebrations, and distinguished audiences, including the Governors of New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Our students are prepared to compete successfully at any level of competition, from pre-beginner through championship. Dancers not only learn discipline and commitment, but also make memories that will last a lifetime.

Beginner Level for All Ages

Classes are available for children and adults of all ages. Our Wee Folk class is specially designed for dancers ages 3–5, while Beginner classes are open to students ages 6 and up. In a fun, supportive, and safe environment, students build confidence, make new friends, learn Irish traditions, and enjoy plenty of exercise along the way.

Our Dance Family

At Fíor Academy of Irish Dance, we believe the friendships made through dance are just as important as the skills learned in the studio. Our dancers enjoy performances, competitions, team outings, and academy events that create memories and strengthen the bonds within our school. We are proud to offer a welcoming, supportive environment where dancers of all ages can grow, challenge themselves, and feel like part of the Fíor family.
